So ya, if you have Kodi running on a PC in your home you can use ANY DLNA control point to both control it or cast to your CC, this is the way you have to do it. Kodi has several built-in UPnP A/V (Universal Plug and Play Audio Visual) features, including the ability to receive UPnP and DLNA content. I am not familiar with Kodi but from what I understand it's a media server so maybe it's DLNA compliant in which case BubbleUPnP should see it. The quality is going to be as good as your media is and it's so much more efficient. I also run a media server here, It has it's own native app that also has CC support but also works with any number of control point apps, If Kodi doesn't have NATIVE CC support get a DLNA control point app that does like BubbleUPnP, that will see any number of media servers along with a 1000 other things. I don't see why you would want or even need to run Netflix through Kodi instead of just using Netflix/YouTube's native apps, at this point it's just getting in the way. It's what the device was designed for cause once you start that it starts the app on the CC which then gets the file/stream location and starts taking it directly, as appose to your phone/tablet/whatever getting it and then sending it to the CC, such a bad way to do things cause your tablet has to both receive the stream and then cast the screen. Simply open up the YouTube, NetFlix, Whatever app and use its Native Casting feature. I have both a V2 and V1, no sync issues ever, even on high resolution files. Screen casting is the worse possible way to go about achieving what you want (consider it a last resort or simply to see what is on your screen on your big TV, not meant to stream media).
